A run down porch behind overgrown grass

“What are you going to do with the house?”

What it usually means

A fairness question. They want to know if you are about to make a great deal at their expense.

What to say

Straight answer: I fix it and sell it, or I pass it to somebody who does. I make my money on the repair, which is why I can pay cash and buy it as it stands.

What not to say

Do not dodge this, and do not pretend you are moving in. Honesty here converts better than any script.
