“I'm not interested”
What it usually means
Almost always a reflex rather than a decision. It arrives before they have heard what you want, so it is an answer to being interrupted, not to your offer.
What to say
That is fair, you did not ask me to call. I buy houses in the area and I only need thirty seconds. If it is not for you I will not call again.
What not to say
Do not argue that they should be interested, and do not immediately restate your pitch louder. Both confirm you were not listening.
